After a hectic career as a cardiac surgeon, I traded the city's pace for the tranquility of the suburbs, reducing my time in the OR to enjoy long walks with my dogs. A year ago, I fully embraced a dream deferred: writing historical fiction. I have always been convinced that the past offers more profound wisdom than any other source, yet it is tragically overlooked. Observing the fundamental shifts reshaping our world, I felt compelled to to learn more about humanity. My investigation into unexpected links between different cultures led me to a firm conclusion: the lasting impact of female role models—mothers, daughters, sisters, and wives—is vital in overcoming long-standing animosity and prejudice. In response to our chaotic times, I wrote my debut novel, "When the Crescent Meets the Star: The Bloodline’s Covenant Against Lucifer’s Shadow" – the first book in The Razor Covenant series. It celebrates the incredible strength of women and highlights the urgent need to give a voice to the voiceless, recognizing their role in standing up against repression and persecution.
